This is a rare opportunity to acquire a meticulously maintained Land Rover LR3 with relatively low miles.  After an exhaustive search lasting over a year, I found this LR3 on Cars.com in the summer of 2015 at a Porsche dealership in NJ. It had the color, age, miles, and  equipment that I had been targeting.  The exterior is Stornaway Grey with Ebony black leather interior.

A friend at a Honda store here on Long Island acquired it for me, I bought it from him, and I was able to acquire a 2-year Land Rover factory service contract from Land Rover Glen Cove.  Whatever needed fixing was done at Land Rover Huntington, whether or not it was covered by the warranty.  I got the truck with 75k miles on the odometer and now that number is about 90k.  I have never driven it off-road.

Some of the work that has been performed on my LR3 over the past few years (other than frequent oil changes) include:  New brake pads and rotors front and rear, a new cubby box lid; new wiper blades; tie-rod ends; wheel alignment; left and right front hubs and bearings; front/rear lower control arm bushings; battery; a new LR4-style front grille; a new fuel tank shroud; a gear shifter assembly.

There is no exterior body damage on the vehicle, except for some of the usual dings expected to be found on a 10-year old Rover. There is a tear–almost microscopic–in the leather on drivers door panel but the leather is otherwise in excellent shape. Rear steel brake lines were recently replaced as was the  terrain response switch on the shifter console.  Basically, over the past three years, if it’s broken or worn, it’s been replaced. Plenty of tread depth left on the 265/60R18 Continental tires.

When I worked for Jaguar Land Rover LI, I drove LR3’s and Range Rover Sports for almost 10 years.  Rovers are my preferred form of transportation because of their size and rugged ride, but I also drive an Audi Q7 and my wife is convinced I do not need a second vehicle.  I will consider any serious offer over $7.5k.
